About Get Back Up CIC
Get Back Up CIC is a Glasgow-based community interest company developing and delivering practical programmes that help people build awareness, confidence, resilience and healthier ways of moving forward.
We work across community, education and workplace settings, creating accessible learning experiences built around real-life challenges, practical tools and meaningful conversation.
WHO WE ARE
Get Back Up was created around a simple idea: understanding something is most valuable when we can actually use it in everyday life.
Our programmes turn subjects such as emotional awareness, relationships, behaviour, resilience, workplace wellbeing and abuse awareness into practical conversations and activities that people can relate to.
We aim to create environments where people feel comfortable enough to engage honestly, while still being challenged to reflect, learn and take responsibility for what comes next.
WHO WE WORK WITH
Individuals & Communities
Personal development and awareness programmes designed to strengthen self-awareness, resilience, confidence and everyday coping skills.
Young People
Interactive, age-appropriate learning around emotions, relationships, boundaries, pressure, decision-making and resilience.
Workplaces & Organisations
Practical programmes exploring the human factors behind wellbeing, behaviour, capacity, burnout and healthier workplace cultures.
OUR APPROACH
Practical
We focus on ideas and tools people can understand, remember and apply outside the room.
Human
Difficult subjects are explored through honest conversation, reflection and relatable real-life examples.
Accessible
Delivery can be adapted around the communication, learning and support needs of the group.
Forward-Focused
Understanding the past matters, but our programmes ultimately focus on what people can recognise, change and do next.
WHAT MATTERS TO US
Honesty
Meaningful change starts with being willing to look at what is really happening.
Awareness
Understanding our thoughts, emotions, behaviours and environment gives us more choice over what happens next.
Responsibility
Support matters, but lasting change also requires people and organisations to take ownership of what they can influence.
Connection
People learn, grow and cope better when they feel heard, respected and connected to others.
